Any Video Converter Lite App Reviews

While Lion does not support DV encoding into another format, this app do it. (DV format is the one used by iMovie to import videos from a DV cam recorder) Didnt find any problem at this moment

1. The French UI was probably translated using Google and is so bad it is almost unintelligible. 2. I’ve tried the app, and it does not work. Period.

This software doesn’t works like they said! theres a lot of issue that need be fixes! For example, the aspect ratio doesn’t works!

Thank you guys for the app. It did what it promised to do, so it converted the videos that no other app was converting. I just think you should improve its interface design :D.

So far nothing that Ive tried to convert works.

This thing rocks... Been using it for awhile now and I have converted a ton of files to files usable by Itunes and in turn useable on my AppleTV or my BBPlaybook. Recommended!

It does what its suppose to but when I convert videos the quality just goes terrible. I do like that it convert many types of files.

This is the easiest, best converter Ive found. I can only watch xvid avis on my TV, and I struggled to find something that could just quickly convert mkvs and mp4s correctly. Handbrake is too complex and made lousy avis that drop frames, went out of synch, etc. But with this, I drag, drop, convert: DONE. WALK AWAY. The only (minor) thing Id like to see changed is for it to default to the original size for the converted file. The avi settings are otherwise perfect for one-click conversion, except that it always defaults to 320x240, for some reason.

Downloaded this free version just so I could download and convert some You Tube videos. First 10 URLS I tried said the site was unsupported. So I tried Metacafe...... also said unsupported and cannot find video path. I dont have time to waste on this so Ill move on to another application that works. Dont waste your time!!

Tends to quit unexpectedly. Cant convert my imovie files to iPad files. Keeps putting up a box advertising the platinum version I would avoid this

I wanted to convert a .DAT movie into iPAD compatible version. The free version of the software worked really well. Im very happy.

This app works great for converting to iPhone 4. Havent run into any problems yet.

I got this converter because Xilisoft Ultimate Video Converter was giving me problems and I had to pay 50.00 to be able to convert a video without a watermark. This converter does its thing; it lets you convert a video to a various amount of output formats, and you can even crop the video to what youd like. The first time I did this, I was able to crop it how I wanted and then convert only what I needed. The second time it gave me some problems and ended up converting the whole thing; but it still saved me lots of time and money! I know they have a pro version for like 24.99 which still isnt too bad. I know it may not be the best converter out there, but for a free video converter, it certainly does its job!

Converted the old, VHS-camcorder recorded (then later converted to an ancient AVI format) video files that were not recongized by Final Cut Express. Its an undeniable plus that there are no watermarks or limitations on video conversion length.

I am doing screencasts and it keeps cutting off the end of the video. Terrible!

Had a few videos to convert - Any video converter lite did the job. No problems - no issues.

I’m not tech-genius, so this app is exactly what I need. It’s easy to use, efficient, and doesn’t feel clunky at all. It looks clean, and simple. And it’s converts amazingly fast. Definitely WORTH the downloa ~ you won’t regret it!

I used this to convert some short MOV files into MP4 and WEBM for use in some HTML5 video backgrounds. It worked quickly and flawlessly.
