Any Video Converter Lite App Reviews

Alright so when I first got this, the first couple videos I converted were great. And then, after changing no settings or anything, they started getting blurrier and blurrier. So after fiddling around with the settings for a little while, it got worse. The picture got better (still terrible quality though) and the sound was fine, but the hour long video became 8 minutes long. It would speed up the video of an hour long tv episode into 8 minutes while the sound remained at the same speed. Try explaining that one for me… This app is not even worth a look

I used this a couple of days ago and it was fine. Went to load it now and it wont open. Uninstalled and reinstalled and it still wont start. Running on OS X 10.8.5. Cant think of anything Ive installed or updated in the past couple of days. Its been a great app - hope it gets resolved. UPDATE: Have since upgraded to Mavericks 10.9. Still doesn’t work. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app again and still no go. Bounces in the dock a few times and disappears.

I needed to convert a video to edit in iMovie. I looked online and found many programs that cost money to convert the file. This program did exactly what I wanted for free. It was also so easy to use. Load the video, pick the desired format and convert. Simple. If you need to convert a video from one format to another you cant beat the price.

This apps works good, however it seems to speed up the video. Ive been testing it with a video thats 1:29 seconds long and the app converts it to .MP4 at 720 resolution but it speeds up the video that now is only .52 seconds long. Ive been changing the setup to see if I can get it just right. Other than that, it works good.

Finally an app that will literally convert any video file to any format you want. Even if its a broken non-readable file. And finally I can convert those pesky irritating WMV files to iPod without having to pay. In todays video-streaming-internet-download world we live in, converting video files to the format of my choice should not have to be such a hassle and this app does the job just right. FIVE STARS!

Would not convert .swf file, even though it is listed in description.

After successfully converting the first video, it crashes every time I try to load another one, even after I reboot my computer.

This app does not convert "any video" since it doesnt recognize .m4v.

Take FOREVER!!!! to convert files and even then I cant put them on iMovie or iTunes

Yes, it works for almost any video formats, but not .m4v. It will be better if it adds this format. A very fast video converter so far.

This really works well :) just converterd an 3 hour avi file to mp4 for imovie. It only took 30 min

Its exactly like Kigo video converter but you cant select an output directory and you cant murge files together without the app crashing, aside from those two easly fixable flaws its a good app.

Any Video Converter worked for a while and then it started to have problems converting videos - the audio and video were never in sync. I tried Smart Converter next and it works much better.

I rated 5/5 because it does everything it says it will, for free. Ive read some reviews that claim it crashes often but I suppose it just depends on the computer. Peronally I have not had that problem.

I like the interface, but it simply doesnt work. Every video that Ive put through it has issues. Whether the video and audio are out of sync, or if you skip ahead there will be no video at all. Only a black screen. If you could rate negative stars I would.

Hangs. Complete waste of time.

It works perfectly and quickly.

This is a horible program. I was converting a 1080p HD movie and when it was done converting. It looked like something from the 80s video quality. I will never tell peaple about this program.

Didnt download or convert anything I wanted it to - a complete waste of time and space.
